In her Jerusalem Post column, Caroline Glick mentions a piece of news we haven’t seen reported elsewhere:

Both Iran and its Hamas proxy in Gaza have been busy this Christmas week showing Christendom just what they think of it. But no one seems to have noticed.

On Tuesday, Hamas legislators marked the Christmas season by passing a Shari’a criminal code for the Palestinian Authority. Among other things, it legalizes crucifixion.

Hamas’s endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time it renewed its jihad.

well, guess I was disappointed to see the end result of the elections.

but that is ok. Its not the end of the world.

I look back at history of how the Israelis elected a king, even though the prophet Samuel tried his best to persuade the majority of accepting God as their king, but instead they got Saul.

but did the story end there? no. Last time I checked, the story continued all the way to the book of Revelation with Jesus sitting on the throne.

Always have, always will....no matter who is president of this beautiful country. God has the final say.

    • Fansubbing- negative publicity?

I saw a discussion on fansubbing, and how this is causing a lot of japanese productions to cut down on shows or close down business entirely.

basically, no monies are being earned by the artists when their shows go out in the internet. so, with no money, no honey. Its basically illegal to reproduce the shows without the license, but yet people gobble this up like cereals on top of ice creams.

If the industry were to go after individual fansub groups to shut them down, will this help?

What do you think? Because its in the internet, should everything be free of charge?

(to give you a little more info about what I read, go to this link.)

      haha...

If you just happen to be a super-geek and don't want to be seen as a pussy by your peers then i guess you might just be interested in this little baby!

Why in the hell you need to pay nearly $300 for a bit of wire is waay beyond me, but i guess if you are ultra-anal then the 'Denon AKDL1 Dedicated Link Cable' is right up your back-passage.

However, if you check out the reviews for this overpriced ornament it might just bring a smile to your face - Seems that not everyone is as impressed with this bit of tacky technology as they should be - It makes for an awesome read - LOL !

Our life is a best teacher. Everything that happens in our life teaches us something or the other. Few things are routine. Few lessons are common. But yet there are few experiences which are unique.

What did you learned from your life?
What is the one lesson that you learned in your life that you might be interested in sharing with others?
Based on your experiences and learning’s, what is the message you like to pass on to next generation?

I am looking forward to learn from your life and your experience.

Hey man I just wanted to say I've enjoyed your thoughts on the Origins and Morality forum. I agree with pretty much everything you've said so far, and it's been good. But frankly I think we should just drop it. The guys on that forum are really all jerks and don't talk about the issues, just point out fallacies instead of thinking. I've seriously found that Bryy almost never talks about the subject, only harasses people and what they say. I gave up on that thread a while ago, and unless you want to get a lot of grief and even some neg mods, I suggest you do too. I just don't like seeing other users I respect get torn down by forum bullies. Besides, it's already way off topic. Have fun man!

      That is true.

Absolutely. People can and do fall away all the time. They turn their back on the grace that God has shown them and reject His offer of salvation. I know a couple of people like that, unfortunately.

lol. Nice job with the photoshopping. I'm quite the fan of photoshopping things myself (mainly so they look completly retarded but...)

Yeah, I've only participated in a few trends. I think they were all for Pokemon, because I can't deny my inner Poke-nerd. I think for one of the trends I had Spinarak, then the other I had Haunter, and for the Gijinkas (pokemorphs) I had Haunter and a few others. I didn't really try this new trend though, because I had no clue where to go for it.

It was a grammar joke - a bit of forced alliteration. :D

Really though - the problems we're having today - crop failures, flooding, rampant sexual sins and murders, earthquakes, etc. All are part of the curses attributed to nations who curse Israel. We were a friend of Israel for YEARS and now we're turning on them under the guise of "peace". How is that going to help anything at all?

The real problem comes in when people equate "Christian" with "catholic". The catholic faith believes in works based righteousness where you get into heaven based on your works, that the mother of Christ is a co-redeemer and worthy of worship and that worshiping idols of saints, mary, and Jesus can also be added to your merit cache for future use in redemption. In contrast, Christianity believe that the redemptive work of Christ alone is what's necessary for our salvation (saved by the grace of God which is obtained by faith in Christ alone) and that the only "work" that's required is the repenting of our sins whereby we turn from our old lives and have God be the center of our lives instead of ourselves. In doing so, we produce good works as a by product and not out of a necessary work through which we are redeemed.

      Luke 2:1-20

And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.â€Â
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“ Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!â€Â

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.†And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely[d] known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

If anything those should give me cause to feel better! It's just that there's a lot going on and I'm not leaving it at the feet of God and worrying about it. Yes, I know that worrying is a sin and yes, I know that God can and will handle anything I give, I just need to remember to do it and not keep trying to pick it back up, that's all. :)

Some people are just never ready to hear the Gospel. That's the joy of predestination. Some will hear it and respond, some will hear it and not respond, and some will hear it and try to kill you. In the end, God rules it all - we just keep trying until the fullness of the gentiles.
