I hate Ice, I hate sleet and I pretty much hate anything that has a freezing point of 32F (0C). I hate it when the ambient temperature is below 32F (0C) and I generally dislike precipitation, but hate all forms of frozen precipitation....especially snow.

The article has some rather drastic and complicated ways to fix the latest problem surrounding Internet Explorer. What should be noted in the article that a firefox download is faster and simpler than boarding up IE and waiting for king microsoft to fix the problem.

Firefox has an adblocker add on as well...which I installed as soon as Gus's glowing ... "glory" became a banner ad on the sight....works very well.

I know nobody reads my journal, so it really doesnt matter that I was commenting on gambling in the NFL before this guy, but what can the NFL really do about gambling on their games? Let's face it, alot of things are illegal in this country and that does not stop people from breaking laws to continue what they really want to do. If the NFL wanted to take the hardest stance against gambling possable, the only thing they could do within their power is start every broadcast and game with PSA shunning the habit.

Ok, so I have to start off by saying that I admit my views on humanity and its trends usually venture past the "misanthropic" realm into the scary. As a result, it took me quite a while to jump into the newest console generation. Much to my surprise, the XBox 360 lived up to the hype, by in large.

Fast forward a few months and we come to a new bit of gadgetry that has taken this misguided species by storm, the iPhone. After seeing the product demos, I closed my mind to the notion of the iPhone being useful and misjudged people that wanted them as mindless followers of shiny objects. Then, a few weeks ago, a cousin let me tinker with his. Within a few days I owned my own iPhone and have loved it ever since. I wont go into lavish details of how nice it is, you can find that out for yourself. For now though, humanity has gained a little bit of trust in my opinion...go team!

I watch the random questions thread and noticed a spammer in the thread, and was a little disappointed that the only thing I could do about it on my end was neg mod him (which seemed a little weak). Is there a way to report spammers, or someone to notify in case abuse is found? I browsed the forums, and if an answer exists already I apologize in advance for being impatient. Thanks for the help guys.

The above link is from a blog in my hometown newspaper. Basically, the gist of the article is how the Steelers should have won by more and that in not doing so, gamblers are out a shit ton of money. SO FUCKING WHAT!!! I believe that gambling is illegal in most of the US and the industrialized world BECAUSE of how much you can lose. Bitching about losing money in a bet is like bitching your arm got bunt after you set it on fire!

    • Nearly given up on humanity.

People are making me hope that Global Warming is what will do the Human Race in. I try to present a friendly facade to people even though I have a tenancy to view people as worthless until they can prove otherwise. I even go the extra mile and help people who need it, even thought they don't ask for it. This behavior is known in psychology as affect (not effect). I try to present a positive affect, and the effect should be positive results according to the theory.

Well...it doesn't work that way. I cannot turn a blind eye when people shit on my hard work (literally...which is what pissed me off today for the most part). I know this is not an American phenomenon, this has happened elsewhere in the world. I don't even think its as simple as we don't care about each other, I think people ENJOY ruining other people's days.

Well...I say bring on the nuclear Armageddon. If anyone survives the maelstrom of events that follow...perhaps they can reshape the asinine nature of humanity.

...to bad I can't plaster a decal on the sight NASCAR style. Anywho, I have been a huge fan of the sight since I first saw it three years ago. Reconstruction has been a blast, and I can't wait to see more of it.

So the Cubbies have gone and done it again. What hurts the most about this season is the fact that, after such a strong and dominating season, they shut down in the post-season. The only thing that restored my will to follow sports (and by extension will to live), was the fact that the Bears are looking like a much better team than anyone (outside of the Bear's roster) thought they would be.

Going forward will be a difficult time as a Cub fan. I cannot say that I even look forward to next year. This whole situation makes me wounder how many other Cubs fans are as hurt about this as I am.
