Hey guys, long time no text based comment reading!
just thought i'd let you know that i'll probably be using this site a bit more again, i really can't be arsed with the likes of BookTube, YouSpace and MyFace.
erm... so... what should i update with?
Guess i should let you all know that the economy is going to crap, it's a secret, but i don't think it'll go far on the internet.
it's times like this that i'm glad i'm not at university or trying to pay the bills.
Oh yeah, some interesting information, i turned 18 2 weeks ago! how scary is that? not only am i no longer bound by age ratings on games and DVD's but i can drink! (well, legally that is *cough*) - i live in the UK
it'd probably be best if you didn't try to imagine me drunk, i'll let you all know, i'm scary-funny-freaky.
let me finish by saying "This isn't brave! it's murder! what did i ever do to you? you don't even care do you? Now, please proceed into Android Hell!" - cepo alias Alex K - the device has been modified. A must for fans of Portal and/or techno.
Until next time guys! Sarge over and out!

I'm back! mainly because N4cer2002 stole* my other profile but oh well.
Just don't expect much from me here,i probably won't comment much, RvB's really lost it's appeal to me over the years.
On a slightly more positive note, MARSHMALLOW COOKIES.
*did not actually steal

Well, unless youve been hiding under a rock the past few days the Command and conquer 3 demo was released on the Uk version of xbox live marketplace (im certain it was released earlier in the US i mean we STILL dont have the Viva Pináta demo yet)
Suffice to say, the game looks awesome and the control scheme works very well - though i have to admit, keyboard and mouse support would have been nice.
be aware that you may encounter a few issues with the download.
expect a proper review tomorrow

Any Resmblance to Joss Whedon's "Firefly" is purely coincidental, and i used the word "Frack" because its sounds better than "Fuck" and is more reader freindly in my opinion (yes i know its used in Battlestar Galactica, im not trying to say i created it)
Chapter 2: Hazardous Cargo
Malcolm started his shift as the ship’s pilot the same way every single day, with a shot of Terran whisky. As the Pilot of the vessel shared between him and seven other people he wanted to make sure he was awake, and Terran whisky was definitely the way to make that happen.
“Damn that’s strong stuff, need to get more of it the next time we’re near a Terran outpost†thought Malcolm as he set the bottle down on the main console, checking the dials and electronic gauges that indicated the ship was flying flawlessly, as was the norm when Malcolm had his shift.
The “Pilotfish†was a small civilian freighter used as mobile accommodation or a means to transport goods from planet to planet, a ship of its type would usually sell for 20,000 credits but his friend Alex was the one who found it cheap, rusting in a scrap yard. Together he, Alex and Kate had put together the 16,000 credits needed to buy the ship and get it in working order, they planned to start a small commercial trade company and keep on the good side of universal law. That was before the war started.
A group of smugglers could find themselves a good deal from either of the two sides during the conflict which is what drew the crew back into less lawful business deals.
Today they were bringing a shipment of pulsar rifles and two “defiant†A.I.S.’s (Armoured infantry suits) to a Basitin research station right along the borders of Alliance controlled space. Strange that, despite the fact that Malcolm and his crew were neither Basitin nor Keidran, the alliance still trusted them to complete a deal. Perhaps it was the thought of being blasted into space or captured, and dissected whilst conscious that kept the crew from any traitorous thoughts against their employers.
Malcolm had his chain of thought interrupted by another crewmember, Chazz, bursting into the cockpit.
“Can’t you hear that Beeping?†exclaimed Chazz as he pointed worryingly to the centre console. And with that Malcolm immediately moved his hair so he could see the console in detail.
“Oh you’ve got to be Fracking kidding me! Get everyone to their stations, and bring the turrets online! NOW!†screamed Malcolm.
The console showed Three interceptor sized dots moving towards the ship, that obviously meant trouble, either the alliance had decided to take their cargo and destroy them or they’d been discovered by a human patrol, either way Malcolm was prepared for a fight.
“This is the civilian freighter Pilotfish to incoming aerospace fighters, please identify yourselves†Malcolm asked in a monotone voice.
“Pilotfish, this is Alliance border patrol Alpha one dash seven, we’ve been sent to escort you to the research station and my name is Tamain. We request that you transfer the pulse rifles to our ships as part of the original contract.†Responded the pilot in what seemed to be an excited voice.
“Roger that, we’ll have our templar transport them over to your ships immediately†Responded a rather confused Malcolm, he didn’t remember there being any terms in the deal, other than bring the equipment to the research station. He shrugged off any thoughts of worry or betrayal the Basitin people were an honourable race, they could be trusted.
Down in the main cargo hold Jamie, the ships Templar, had just finished transporting the pulsar rifles across to the Basitin ships. Neither Alliance Human nor Terran had mastered any sort of teleporting technology, so they were all forced to use old fashioned magic.
Walking over to the cargo hold’s intercom station, Jamie swiftly informed Malcolm that the cargo had been transported and wandered back to his quarters.
“Okay, the rifles have been transported. Shall we move towards the station?†asked Malcolm inquisitively to Tamain, he was personally excited to see why the Basitin would want Terran weaponry considering their lack of knowledge for how the technology works, he also wanted to see if the Basitin had any stronger alcohol.
“Negative Pilotfish, that’s all we’ll need from you. I’m sorry to do this but you are of no more use to us.â€Â
And with that each of the Basitin interceptors fire a volley of missiles, all directed at the Pilotfish.
“Incoming! We’ve got incoming! Return fire!†shouted Malcolm into the Intercom but it was already too late. The majority of the missiles hit the Pilotfish’s portside, exposing the Cargo hold to space and annihilating Jamie’s quarters. The engine room was hit by two missiles and exploded, a jet of flame shot it’s way through the exposed cabin’s and quarters killing Katie and the other two crewmembers. Several more missiles hit the Recreation room and a Chazz’s body was seen floating out to space from Tamain’s cockpit.
Malcolm and Alex had reacted quickly, Both of them always being prepared for the worse had run to the Pilotfish’s weapons hold and immediately got into the A.I.S.’s that were stored there. The suits were airtight and had their own supply of oxygen so Malcolm and Alex were safe for the time being.
“Are the jump jets working on these things?†asked Alex frantically
“Yep, I say we go kick some ass!†exclaimed Malcolm.

Well i finally got Gears of war, and i maust say that the game is AMAZING in terms of gameplay, graphics and storyline (well, maybe not actual Storyline but the cutscenes are pretty darn impressive) it really does surpass my other games by a long margin, and the only gripe i would have would be the excessive gore used. Now dont get me wrong, i dont mind, heck, i enjoy blowing a locust up with a grenade and seeing the "giblets" fly everywhere but some members of my family *cough cousin cough* dont like airborne body parts as much as they should (But he ENJOYS the chainsaw bayonet?!?! how does that work?!?!).
thankfully this can be turned off in the games options menu so its avoidable, though it just doesnt feel right without excessive gore...
yeah, i'll write a real review soon-ish, and "Losing the battle Winning the war" is on hiatus due to huge lack of interest.
i doubt i'll update before sunday so i think i'll say now: "Happy Easter" to all of you celebrating it and "Enjoy your weekend" to those that arent!

Chapter 1: “Tactical retreatâ€Â
The air was thick with bullets, smoke pouring from the ventilation ducts. Every sense was being overloaded, the smell of cordite and smoke filled the air, laced with fresh blood, the deafening racket of all types of munitions being fired in unison. Fallen comrades littered the corridors screaming in agony adding to the mayhem.
“We’re taking too much fire!†yelled a marine to his buddy over the rattle of machine gun fire.
“There’s more over there!†came the muffled response.
“I'M OUT, MAG CHANGE!â€Â
The Terran boarding party had been overrun as soon as it had exited their troopships, despite their apparent advantage they were simply outgunned by the sheer number and ferocity of the Keidran soldiers. One of the Terran marines ran to a segment of destroyed hangar, diving to a halt landing harshly on a lone knee, shouting furiously into a small comm device:
“Bravo boarding team is down, troopships 2, 4 and 5 have been destroyed, 1, 3 are disabled we need immediate evac, repeat IMMEDIATE evac is required. Statâ€Â
Amidst the fire fight ensuing in the hangar bay it was hard to tell that the Keidran were actually firing at humans. Various types of body armour and weaponry made them robotic in appearance, sent from a futuristic war, not a common place battlefield. A violent explosion ripped through the hangar, and a hail of pulsar fire caught both Keidran and Terran off guard as both sides ducked behind the nearest cover. A gunship had flown inside the hangar bay, guns blazing, taking out a large section of the hangar itself in the process.
“Alpha boarding party, what’s your status?â€Â
“two men down, the rest of us are still In one piece, mind if we hitch a ride?â€Â
As if on cue the bay doors of the gunship swung open, covering fire bursting forth. A tall figure clad in jet black camouflage gestured for the desperate men to get in. The Keidran, however had other plans. Two more squads of soldiers had entered the hangar almost completely eclipsing the gunship with heavy machine gun fire. Though it made little difference to the heavily armour clad Terran class gunship. Almost impenetrable to standard ballistic rounds however, rockets are another matter. Kedrian rockets were another matter altogether, and this time the Keidran had come well prepared.
“Tangos, by the left entrance! Crap they’ve got RPGs!â€Â
“I see ‘em, I'll get them with the Pulsarsâ€Â
With two heavy pulsar cannons facing them, the wolves immediately decided against their current course of action and dived out of the hangar bay; swiftly followed by a wave of heavy laser fire.
Pulsars on the Gunships used in boarding parties are required to be able to turn at least 270 degrees, strategically leading to few black spots where the enemy could out manoeuvre the ship and hit it where it couldn’t hit back. For this, the pilots had been thankful.
Blasting out of the hangar doors in a wave of fire, smoke and a hailstorm of bullets, bravo team turned back only to witness the horrific battlefield from a new perspective. Waiting just outside; 2 Keidran predator class cruisers and several Keidran “swift wing†corvettes, in amongst which, the one they were fleeing from. Inter-ship torpedoes were weaving through the sky, exchanging with a single Terran Mekkan destroyer; the “Ominousâ€Â. The team soon realised: they weren’t going to be stationed here much longer, as 'here' wasn't going to be in existence for much longer. One of the major Keidran cruisers, severely damaged, missing the rear half of it’s engine section with gaping holes peppering the side, each the size of a small frigate. In fact, the only ship that hadn’t been severely damaged yet was the corvette they were fleeing from.
“We’ve left the swift wing, you’re clear to open fire captain†shouted the gunship pilot instantly demanding action. Within a split second, an immensely bright beam of light engulfed the corvette blasting it to oblivion.
“Rest in peace Alex†muttered one of the Bravo team members. Beneath the armour and combat helmet the usually brutal soldier was crying silent tears. Losing his only remaining friend was a tough thing for anyone. He was going to make sure the Keidran knew how it felt by destroying everything dear to them. Revenge would indeed be sweet.
Operation Firestorm had begun, and the ball was rolling. Only time would tell the true victors though the battle would last for decades, and millions would lose their lives on both sides. Judgement day was coming, and nothing would stop it now.

Sorry for the length of time its taking to get the first chapter of the fanfiction up, im swamped with coursework and revision for exams, and im neglecting this unfortunately...
although, ive come up with a compromise that should solve a few coursework related problems, i'll just edit the fanfiction a little bit and hand it in as a piece of english coursework.
im also trying to write a large battle sequence as the opening for the fanfic, but im having trouble Actually Describing whats happening in reasonable detail, this is again down to time constraints and stress.
Well, long story short, im hoping to have the first chapter up here Friday or Saturday i'll try my best to keep this deadline.
Until then: "Breach on deck 17! were venting Atmosphere!"
