Hey! Remember when I used this website? Good times. But really though, I guess I'll just be using it for small updates every now and then. And if Eleven Little Roosters has a voting element like TLR did, then you'll be hearing from me a lot more. I guess I don't get on here much because I feel like any of my posts on this website should only be RT-related. I don't know why. I guess 'cause I've got other platforms to gripe and complain on, and I don't really need another one. Maybe I'll change my mind in the future. Who knows.
But anyways, I am here for a reason actually! Thought I'd give you a small RT-related update! Back in January, I saw Lazer Team in theaters!! It was a good time. I live in Florida, so seeing/being in the presence of other Rooster Teeth fans felt ultra strange. Strange but good! I had watched the movie once before going to the theater and it felt kinda awesome to hear other people besides myself laugh at all the RT references and cameos. Not to get weird but it felt so... natural, y'know what I mean? Like, I really fit in here. I don't have to feel uncomfortable here 'cause we all love this one thing. Ah, unity. It's a pretty cool thing.
But! urprisingly, that wasn't the only reason my screening was a blast. It also happened to be Matt Hullum's last stop on his little LT tour. He was there, man! In the flesh! Right before me! (literally right in front of me, we had to sit in the first row because it was all that was available.) It was kind of surreal seeing him and hearing him in person, but I wasn't starstruck or anything like I usually get around "celebrities." (Yeah, I'm that asshole that can't get out any words except small hi's and thank yous, I'm so sorry.) Hullum, he's just a normal dude, as all the RT staff are. It was like seeing an old friend, to be totally honest. He talked about the making of the movie and answered people's questions about the movie itself, the possible sequel, how to make it in the industry, etc.. It was all-around a really neat experience. And it only cemented my desire to attend RTX. Like, please, somebody ship me to Austin in July. I'm begging you. I have to tell Kdin and Val that I think about them every time I have Taco Bell. (it's a long story.)
But, nah man, forreal, I'd love to go to RTX to thank all the amazing crew for providing so much content. And to meet some internet friends/other RT fans!! I just really wanna go to RTX, man. I guess we'll see what the future holds.
So that was my update, I guess. More crying about RTX and probably successfully creeping out RT staff if they were to read this. What can I say? It's what I do best. I hope anyone who reads this is having a good day/night/time, wherever it is you may be! Take care.
P.S.: My short review of Lazer Team: it was a fun, enjoyable watch. Like, I guarantee you if you watch it, you will have a good laugh and a good time. Or your money back!
P.P.S.: Not money from me though. I'm broke.
P.P.P.S.: Fuckin' Boot Group.
