Hey! Remember when I used this website? Good times. But really though, I guess I'll just be using it for small updates every now and then. And if Eleven Little Roosters has a voting element like TLR did, then you'll be hearing from me a lot more. I guess I don't get on here much because I feel like any of my posts on this website should only be RT-related. I don't know why. I guess 'cause I've got other platforms to gripe and complain on, and I don't really need another one. Maybe I'll change my mind in the future. Who knows.

But anyways, I am here for a reason actually! Thought I'd give you a small RT-related update! Back in January, I saw Lazer Team in theaters!! It was a good time. I live in Florida, so seeing/being in the presence of other Rooster Teeth fans felt ultra strange. Strange but good! I had watched the movie once before going to the theater and it felt kinda awesome to hear other people besides myself laugh at all the RT references and cameos. Not to get weird but it felt so... natural, y'know what I mean? Like, I really fit in here. I don't have to feel uncomfortable here 'cause we all love this one thing. Ah, unity. It's a pretty cool thing.

But! urprisingly, that wasn't the only reason my screening was a blast. It also happened to be Matt Hullum's last stop on his little LT tour. He was there, man! In the flesh! Right before me! (literally right in front of me, we had to sit in the first row because it was all that was available.) It was kind of surreal seeing him and hearing him in person, but I wasn't starstruck or anything like I usually get around "celebrities." (Yeah, I'm that asshole that can't get out any words except small hi's and thank yous, I'm so sorry.) Hullum, he's just a normal dude, as all the RT staff are. It was like seeing an old friend, to be totally honest. He talked about the making of the movie and answered people's questions about the movie itself, the possible sequel, how to make it in the industry, etc.. It was all-around a really neat experience. And it only cemented my desire to attend RTX. Like, please, somebody ship me to Austin in July. I'm begging you. I have to tell Kdin and Val that I think about them every time I have Taco Bell. (it's a long story.)

But, nah man, forreal, I'd love to go to RTX to thank all the amazing crew for providing so much content. And to meet some internet friends/other RT fans!! I just really wanna go to RTX, man. I guess we'll see what the future holds.

So that was my update, I guess. More crying about RTX and probably successfully creeping out RT staff if they were to read this. What can I say? It's what I do best. I hope anyone who reads this is having a good day/night/time, wherever it is you may be! Take care.

P.S.: My short review of Lazer Team: it was a fun, enjoyable watch. Like, I guarantee you if you watch it, you will have a good laugh and a good time. Or your money back!

P.P.S.: Not money from me though. I'm broke.

      P.P.P.S.: Fuckin' Boot Group.

I was just browsing when I realized that it's the 16th, so yesterday officially marked 1 year on the RT site! And I still somewhat use it. And I was only a day late on the anniversary. Good for me.

    • Why I'm a Rooster Teeth Fan

So... why am I a Rooster Teeth fan? Well, for a number of reasons! Though that's probably what all these entries say, isn't it? I like to think I'm original. Meh, we'll see.

First and foremost, I'm a Rooster Teeth fan because of all the amazing content you guys make for us. Like, when you think about it, nobody is forcing you guys to make all your shows and videos and stupid stunts. You do it because... well, ya gotta get paid somehow, am I right? No, I'm kidding. You also do it 'cause you guys like making us laugh, you like making us happy. And who doesn't like laughter and happiness? Well, some people actually don't like those things, but I do! That's what matters in this instance.
But just think about that for a second, Whoever's Forced to Read This. In 2003, Red vs. Blue shot off into popularity and Geoff, Burnie, Gus, Matt, and whoever else thought, "People like this. This could go somewhere." They didn't have to. They could've thought, "People like this. But who gives a fuck!" and pulled the plug. But they didn't, 'cause it made people happy. Aaaand, I guess it made them some money but that's beside the point. Since 2003, you guys have released hours and hours of entertainment just to make people a little happier. That's cool.

Secondly, I'm a Rooster Teeth fan because of the gorgeous, gorgeous crew. Have you seen yourselves? Could use a bit of work in that department actually. (Except for you, Whoever's Forced to Read This. You're smokin' hot.) I'm kidding, I'm kidding. You're all pretty. But that doesn't matter, 'cause it's what's on the inside that counts and you've all got that going for ya. I genuinely believe that all the RT employees have a good heart. You actually care how your fans are doing. A lot of companies of your stature couldn't care less about their consumers' well-being. I think it's because at the end of the day, you're still normal people, and y'all are so humble, I think you'd agree! You get out of bed, go to work, come home, and start over the next day, just like everybody else. It's always nice to relate to people you look up to. Also, most everybody at Rooster Teeth has such an admirable work ethic. You do SO MUCH in ONE DAY, it's insane! You make me feel bad sometimes actually, like, damn, I need step up my productivity. Nah, it's really inspiring though. I hope to someday be as half as hard-working, humble, and good-hearted as the RT crew.

Lastly, I'm a Rooster Teeth fan because of the awesome community. With some inevitable exceptions, the RT community is super welcoming! I'm fairly new here. I've been a fan since late 2013 (so I was only 10 years late, no big deal) [even later to this site.. oops] But I have never once been shunned for being late to the party. Which is surprising, considering this is an internet-based community and the internet doesn't have the best track record for friendliness. But for the most part, I've never had a problem with a fellow RT fan. And I've made tons of friends all over the world, and maybe it's 'cause I'm a teenage girl, but that kinda YA novel love story-esqe shit is beautiful. Like, because of Rooster Teeth, I've got a friend in Belgium. Belgium, Whoever's Forced to Read This! I live in Florida, dude. That's nuts. And that's not all. I know people in other U.S. states (not too uncommon but still) England, Ireland, Australia, RUSSIA?!?!? Again, that's nuts. And we were all brought together because of a silly little company in Austin, Texas. Bro. Beautiful. I might cry, excuse me for a second.
Now, if all that stuff about the community wasn't enough, what about the money we've raised? Can you believe that, Whoever's Forced to Read This? This community has given tons and tons and tons of time and money to help out a bunch of people in need. The Extra Life streams alone have raised millions of dollars for kids that need it! Not to mention the 2.4 million dollars raised for Lazer Team (!!!) and all that money raised for Sheena & Monty (God rest his soul.) That last one I mentioned really shows how much the community cares about helping out a fellow human in need. The RT community is an excellent example of how online communities should be, and I'm really proud to be a part of it. <3

That really ties this all together, I think. I'm proud of all this company has been able to accomplish in it's 12 year span. I'm proud of those 4 guys in a spare bedroom that thought this could be something. I'm proud of every single member of the crew; whether they be in live action, or in animation, or Burnie, or the Know team, or writers, or voice actors, or editors, or good ol' Achievement Hunter. You guys have done so much for so many people, including me. Thank you so much. I love you guys. Especially you, Whoever's Forced to Read This. You're the real MVP. This was way too long. Have a good day. @RTContests

There's isn't much to say that hasn't been said already. Monty was an incredibly inspiring human being. His talents, achievements, and work ethic made all of us want to strive for more, go that extra mile in everything we did. I never met Monty personally, but from what I've seen through video and all these stories his friends are sharing, he sounded like a genuinely sweet, caring, generous person that acted as a friend to all. He gave us so much over the years, the very least we could do is keep his family and friends in our thoughts during this difficult time. To all my fellow fans, I'm sorry we've lost such an inspiring dude. To the cast and crew, I'm deeply sorry you've lost a dear friend. I'm certain we can all pull through this together. To the man himself, wherever he may be in the great unknown, thank you for everything. Thank you for giving us the masterpiece that is RWBY. Thank you for giving us a little push through way of Professor Ozpin. Thank you for all the work you did on Red vs. Blue. Thank you for putting so, so many countless hours into ensuring we were happy. Thank you for unknowingly bringing so many people of this community together through your amazing work. Just... thanks for being such a cool guy. We love you, Monty. Rest in peace.

It's devastating to hear what's going on with Monty. My thoughts are with him and his family & friends, and I hope with all my heart that he recovers. <3

That... was... amazing! The whole series, I mean. I loved the writing throughout the show and all the RT references and I love how everything tied together in the end. I myself didn't do very well with most of the voting, but I did guess the initial survivor right, so I'll call it a win!! I'm obviously not gonna win the trip to Stage 5, but I'm not as devastated as I thought I'd be. I still had fun with the voting every week. It was fun playing detective for a little while!
The lead-up to everything in the show was so great. Ten Little Roosters was just so great. Good job, Josh!! I hope to see you direct more in the future.
