So this last year has been...intriguing to say the least.

Move to L.A. after what seemed to be an odyssey like series of trials and tribulations.

Got a job teaching history at a community college. Which is nice, and will be better once I get more regular classes to my schedule.

Have some side work going as a goffer/runner/production assistant/the guy who gets the extra stuff so the talent isn't hella pissed off.

Published a book on how to write better academic papers.

Got ditched on a first date...that was a first for me.

Had to deal with a grandma with Alzheimer's. Thank god that's finally taken care of.

Oh, and someone decided the back end of my car needed to be remodeled by driving directly into it.......That was fun.......not really.

Not sure what the is happening this next year. But I'm hoping things keep going in the right direction.

Though it's now come to my attention that I've been MIA for a year here....and no one tried contacting me.

      Just leaving that out there.

So if anyone is not in the know, and don't feel bad if you're not, I don't think this in on a viral level...thing. But DC is gonna have open enrollment for a Writer's Workshop, their first one ever following their Artist Workshop last year.

For those who know me, I've been trying to break into the writing scene and I am putting my application in as soon as enrollment opens up. I've got all the mandatory requirements figured out, though I'm still trying to get a letter of recommendation.

I am really hoping to at least make it to the first level. I know there's gonna be a lot of competition, but hey, can't hurt to see what comes of it.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I've started a new webcomic, Beware the Watcher, on my website.

The series is a horror themed one in the same vein as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So if that intrigues you, check the comic out and let me know what you think.

I saw you wanted to be a writer. That's cool. That's what I want to do too.

The sad thing is he knows I have a boyfriend, yet he still tries.
People set themselves up to get fired. There is a rumor going
around that this girl on my team has been going with her boyfriend
and having sex in the parking lot. (He works there too) It's pretty
      funny.

I have never seen Animal House. Now I'm going to watch it. And don't worry. Frat parties are over-rated I believe. Then again, I've never been to one either so I guess I shouldn't judge. There was one last year at my U that had 400 people at it. Popo showed up and it was a huge fiasco.

Ugh yeah that would be awesome. Classes usually end the last week of November, but then you're buried in books studying for exams which stretch till Dec 22. Then school starts up again first week of Jan.

    • Pianofingers

Wow! Early school start. I start the second week of september, so I still have another 2 weeks of freedom.

    • Pianofingers

lmao Yes! I agree with that description. How's school going? When did you start?

    • Pianofingers

I didn't even feel it here! So I guess not so bad lol. Did you feel it?

    • Pianofingers

Ahhh yes! I can't stand ready-to-go-commercial stuff. It has no hard work put into it! Makes it far less interesting to listen to.

      Wow. That's intense. 20+ years.
My grandparent's on my mom's side
are deceased, but I'm sure if they
      were still alive...

well actually I hear my grandpa was
a jerk off, so I'd probably be in like the military
or some thing I didn't want to do. xD

When I'm done school in 2 years I would love to move out to the UK or Australia. I have family in both and my cousin (from Canada) went over to England to teach for a bit and loved it. I plan on doin the same kind of thing.

I wouldn't mind moving somewhere in BC or east coast either though.

My whole life (so 20 years). I've always lived in Windsor Ontario. I plan on moving ASAP.

    • Pianofingers

lmao Definitely. They need to MAKE room for this stuff. It's important that we remember what the hell we said we would watch eventually.

    • Pianofingers

A couple of people I know really like it. I suppose I'll add it to the long list of shows to watch. lol Everybody has one.
