      So I'm a liar

Well I notice in my last post I said I'd be on more often, and here I am over 9 months later finally making a new journal comment.
In my defence, I have at least continued sponsorship of RT, hence I've kept up to date with the RvB series.

A lots happened in this time, I've got a new girl, though Rhi is the first woman I've been involved with who had any kids, she's got a 4 year old girl called Meghan, but she's no trouble, and the 3 of us get along just fine.

On a rugby front( a personal obsession of mine), Wales had a truly spectucalar fall from grace, going from Grand Slam champions in 2005, to 1 from bottom in 2006, and my side the OSPREYS had a pretty poor show as well, winning the Celtic League title in 2004/2005, to finish a dissapointing mid table last term, but we've got a lot of big names back from injury so this season wil be a lot better (fingers crossed).

Thats my year I suppose, don't suppose I've been missed much, think people had realised I was pretty unreliable this time last year lol, any FFXI online fans on Bahamut can give us a shout when I'm on (Sidius), catch everyone soon xxx

      Xmas

First of all I definitely need to start using this site more often! Riki if you read this I've missed our little chats I've just been distracted outside the matrix back in the real world.

My engagement is off, I finally knocked the other half on the head, something I had been planning for a while, just didn't have the balls to follow through, haven't even been updating the rugby scores as promised, but we'll be back in action in the new year, so apologies to all.

Merry xmas, better wish everybody outhere who cares a Happy New Yeaqr now as I'm so unreliable I probably will not be back until Febuary, but I'm trying Lord, I'm trying! Laters xxx

      INXS

Is it just me, or is anybody else disgusted with the fact that VH1 are launching a new reality TV programme to replace the late great Michael Hutchence as lead singer of INXS. Not sure if this programme has already gone out in the rest of the world as I've just heard about it myself. I've got no problem with a band reforming and continuing following a death, but surely reality TV is not the way.

      What are your thoughts people?

      REM

Saw the greatest gig of my relatively young life last night. Went to see the mighty REM in Cardiffs Millenium Stadium and they blew the roof off the place( yes it was sunny and the bastards had the roof closed, tsk) They had a great support lineup as well, kicking off with Johnathan Rice, who I admittedly have never heard of but he was alright, then Idlewild took the stage and it really started to feel like a stadium gig. They were followed by the Zutons who I'm not particularly keen on personally but they were very good.

But as good as they all were they couldn't compare with REM, who totally brought the house down. I've rread several bad reviews about their ability live, but anybody out there who has been put off by this, should ignore it, its total drivel.

Personal highlight was when Mike Mills joined Idlewild on stage for a rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrds Swet Home Alabama, pure class.

      A great day for freedom

Considering what happened in our country( Great Britain) yesterday, I would just like to express how happy I am with the way that joe public are just getting on with life as normal as possible in London today. Also would like everybody who reads this to raise a glass of something warm, wet and refreshing to commemorate the deceased, to support the grieving families , and for the emergency services who will probably get overlooked by the worlds press in the coming weeks.

The strange thing about the past few days actions to me is that, personally, I feel that the only people to lose out in this long term are going to be the law abiding citizens who aren't of christian denomination who will get tarnished with the same brush as the terrorists. Some of my friends have been comparing this to the IRA troubles which, thankfully seem behind us, but I don't see that myself. I never agreed with the IRA's methods, but at least they were trying to achieve something in the unification of Ireland, but what demands have the perpertrators made so far? None! What demands did they make after Bali? None! And how about 9/11? You've guessed it folks, nada! Maybe I'm being presumptuous by lumping these attacks together, but if they aren't linked, which there is little or no direct evidence of at the minute admittedly, , they are clearly linked by the terrorists disdain for human life, regardless of religious persuasion or colour of the victims.

I do believe though that, in the words of Embrace "The good will come out".
I'm going to step down off my soap box now, to see what reaction I get, if any, laters x

      6 Nations the finale

All I have to say is that we did it, 1st Grand Slam since 1978, suffering with one hell of a hangover, can't be bothered to report on the other teams results as they are UNIMPORTANT. Ha! If your reading this V, I'll speak to you soon sweetheart xxx

      6 Nations(cont.)

Its the last weekend of the championship, all 3 games are on today, starting with the French, who have an extremely small chance of winning the title, playing host to the Italians, can only see a French landslide in that one. Last of all we'll all be hoping Scotland can beat England at Twickenham.

But most importantly, 3.30(GMT) Wales take on the Irish in Cardiffs jewel, the Millenium Stadium, where we're going for the Grand Slam and , call it womens intuition, but I can feel it that we're going to do it. I'm just so excited with anticipation that I can't wait to get to the pub and wait for fun to start. Can't remember the last time this tiny little nation was so buoyant.

And now over to one of the greatest welshmen ever Max Boyce

"We paid our weekly shilling for that January trip:
A long weekend in London, aye, without a bit of kip.
There's a seat reserved for beer by the boys from Abercarn:
There's beer, pontoon, crisps and fags and a croakin 'Calon Lan'.

And we were singing hymns and arias,
'Land of my Fathers', 'Ar hyd y nos'.

Into Paddington we did roll with an empty crate of ale.
Will had lost at cards and now his Western Mail's for sale.
But Will is very happy though his money all has gone:
He swapped five photos of his wife for one of Barry John.

      And we were....................

      We got to Twickers early and were jostled in the crowd;
Planted leeks and dragons, looked for toilets all around.
So many there we couldn't budge -twisted legs and pale:
I'm ashamed we used a bottle that once held bitter ale.

And we were singing hymns and arias,
'Land of my Fathers', 'Ar hyd y nos'.

Wales defeated England in a fast and open game.
We sang 'Cwm Rhondda' and 'Delilah',
damn, they sounded both the same.
      We sympathised with an Englishman
whose team was doomed to fail
So we gave him that old bottle, that once held bitter ale!

He started singing hymns and arias,
'Land of my Fathers', 'Ar hyd y nos'.

So it's down to Soho for the night,
      to the girls with the shiny beads;
To the funny men with lipstick on,
      with evil minds and deeds.
One said to Will from a doorway dark,
damn, she didn't have much on.
But Will knew what she wanted,
      aye...his photo of Barry John!

'Cos she was singing hymns and arias,
'Land of my Fathers', 'Ar hyd y nos'."

Yeah, that means if I ever decide to create the FFIX cast in South Park form. I can just borrow that black mage from FFI and do a little editing and bam! I got myself a Vivi. It's actually my little brother's favorite character too. Other characters I did: Squall Leonhart, Tidus, Wakka, Rufus Shinra, Rude, Reno, and I had two incomplete Cloud Strife and Locke Cole.
