      My title says it all.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that I like cartoons. There have been two movies I can think of right off that I did not want to see based on the previews that I saw of them, but it turns out they were fantastic.

The first of which is Tangled. I did not see this one in theatres, but while I was kid sitting. The trailer made it look like your run of the mill retelling of Rapunzel. While it is still a retelling of Rapunzel it is not "run of the mill." I get this being marketed to kids they can't tell the exact story so some changes are needed. It was a really interesting take on it and I was impressed- hard to do for me. I expect a lot from my cartoons.

The second is Frozen. I realize that I am really late in the game having only seen it just yesterday. From the previews it looked like it was this stupid story about a snowman and a moose. While those are characters in the movie they are the comic relief of the actual story about two sisters. Highly entertaining. There are a lot of songs, so if music isn't your thing then don't see this. My boyfriend enjoyed the hell out of it though- in fact it was his idea to see it. The entire time I was watching it, I could see turning it into a Broadway play (some special things with lighting and sets to get the same effects as the movie).

Anyone else find some Disney movie previews "meh" while the movie itself was fantastic?

I decided to give this show a shot. I would say that if I had had to watch it week to week than I would probably have trouble keeping up. Keep in mind that I'm only halfway through the second season so watch spoilers in the comments.

I don't think I've seen a show that is more convoluted than this one. There are many different story lines going on that are in just about every episode making it really hard to keep up with. The first season is fairly normal, but in season two it takes this odd turn that I can't put into words. At this point I think the writers were making it up as they went along. I can't be certain since I haven't reached the end yet, but sincerely hope that the show has an actual ending. I guess one thing I have to look forward to is once I am done with this one, I will watch the episode of Psych they based off of this show.

It's entertaining, but not sure this show has re-watch value.

Saw it just yesterday. It wasn't at all what I expected- it was better. It's one of Ben Stiller's best in awhile. I recommend this one.

      *spoilers below*

As most of you know already Matt Smith is leaving Doctor Who. I am thrilled! I have never been a big fan of his. If you are up to date, read this, and you will see the large part of why I feel this way.

I'm just curious who everyone thinks will be next. Are they going to stick with what they typically have done? Or are we going to have a female doctor? (please no!) Some of the names I have heard thrown around wont work for a few reasons I'll name a few:

Daniel Radcliff: 1. He's too young, and 2, the only thing I have seen him in has been Harry Potter. Not that I won't eventually see him in something else, just that I haven't wanted to. So watching Doctor Who with Daniel Radcliff would be watching Harry Potter be The Doctor. That would be just a bit odd for me. I couldn't do it.

Martin Freeman: I actually like this idea, but it wouldn't work. He is currently in Sherlock. (great show!) as well as the Hobbit movies. I don't see how he could do all three. I have come to find though that I really do like him and maybe one day he could- it'd be fun!

David Bowie- I don't think I even need to give reasons why this would be a horrible idea. Don't get me wrong, Labyrinth- yes, Doctor Who- absolutely not.

Here are a few that I think would be good.

Andrew Scott- Moriarty from Sherlock! That would be great! I can picture his Doctor being a lot like Jared from the Pretender.

Jamie Dornan- to be honest, I've only seen him in Once Upon a Time. I'm not certain how it would work with him as the Doctor, but I think he'd be a safe bet.

Apparently there is also talk of bringing David Tennant back! I think those hopes are in vain. I for one though would be very glad to have him back. Everyone has their favorite, and he is mine. I think it would be breaking some sort of code. I really don't care. I like him. I miss him!

Of course, I could just miss the wonderful writing of Russell T. Davies. Am I the only one who found the last episode disappointing, or most of this half of season 7 for that matter? Clara is an interesting companion, but they keep writing horrible episodes for her. Case in point: The Bells of Saint John. It is similar to The Idiot's lantern (which I didn't like either). Or the Crimson Horror, Cold War. Cold war could have been great! I can't put the blame fully on Steven Moffat either. He only wrote one of those. I'm just curious how he went from writing episodes like Silence in the Library and Blink to writing things like Let's kill Hitler and The Bells of Saint John!

I've got high hopes for next year and the new Doctor, but who will it be? Anyone have some theories?

EDIT: Fixed the random symbols that showed up.

Beware of possible spoilers... But I'll try my best to avoid them. I would use spoiler text, but after all, this is my journal entry, and I did warn you.

Now You See Me is perhaps one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I love trying to figure things out in movies and I'm usually pleased when I do because I rarely figure it out. (there are a few exceptions to this one, one glowing example is League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but that's a topic for another day.)

I did not see that ending coming: at all. I was really glad that I was unable to figure this one out. There are always some cases where I say.... I know X, but I don't know how they did it! That perhaps happened once the whole movie. I was able to stay engaged the whole time and I had a few theories about different things, and others i had no idea.

I do give it a 9/10. Possibly even a 9.99/10. I did have one eye rolling moment, but it's probably the same that everyone else had.

I gauge a movie on how good it is on my watch. If the movie keeps me engaged and I don't even think about the time, it's a great movie. If I want to know what time it is, but I avoid my watch, I chalk it up to it's good, but not completely engaging.... and then there is the last category, I want to look at my watch, and do, sort of a "oh my gosh when will this be over..." This movie falls into the first category.

Highly reccomend seeing this movie! It will be worth it.

(I guess I'm a big fan of most of the cast as well: Michale Cane, Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco, Woody Harleson, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffolo, and a few others who I've seen before, but not in much. They also helped make this movie amazing!)

Not certain a stress test has been done as of yet. They moved my dad to the CCU (critical care unit).

He has a breathing tube and is currently sedated....

Not holding up well. Be praying for me!!

I don't normally post this sort of thing, but this is necessary. I don't know how many of you who read this are the praying type, but please be praying for my dad. (and my family) if you are the praying type.

My dad was admitted to the hospital and they are unsure of what is going on, but believe he had a heart attack a few weeks ago.- and is only now feeling the effects. I'm not feeling too great right now, but just trying to get through work at the moment. I'll try and remember to give an update as I get more information, but again, please be praying for my dad.

UPDATE: My dad did indeed have a heart attack. He is still having difficulty breathing, but he is on oxygen. Also, they plan on doing a stress test and see how bad the damage is. Worst of it all, he will still be there on his birthday (Sunday).

Game was decent, started out hotter than Hell until some teenage girls behind me let me have a fan, for which I was quite grateful. Had a bacon dog with mustard, cheese, and jalapenos, which was tasty, but the game was a bit of a disaster. I nearly missed Nelson Cruz getting a single, and then totally missed David Murphy following that up with the only Rangers home run of the game. Aside from that, the final play was brutal, bases loaded, 1 out, double play. Game over, 8-4 Angels. Meh.

From what I understand, that happens all the time in places where people work on commission. Best Buy is partnered with Clear now, and in most cases, they suck balls, but their reps work on commission, so we get lots of angry people back and the reps don't stay in our store for long.... I have heard stories though about people having their data copied and distributed. That's an intensely illegal thing to do, but it could arguably be better than murder.

Although, i've been told i'm not missing much from Star Trek 3.

You're missing Christopher Lloyd as a bad guy. It's like Who Framed Roger Rabbit except with Klingons, what more could you ask for?

Cool you're into stargate! Speaking of that I've got an ancient language translator (english to 5000 year old cuneiform script) you might want to checkout in my journal. Effing sweet I think...and took forever to put together :)
