    • How long has it been?

      tidus_mi2

Well I never had a large amount of "friends" on this website persay but I did get to know a few people, however it's now been at least a year since I was last active on this website, I can't work out how long it's actually been and that's not counting times I've just come in to watch RvB.

So anyone I ahd known previously could have quit by now or has probably long forgotten my existance, why did I leave? I guess I just lost interest with this site and I can't work out why, drunk tank good, comic good, rvb good, RT shorts good, forum, meh hit and miss like most forums.

Speaking of the comic, is that still going?

Weird request but I remember as a kid playing a game but I can't for the life of me remember the name and I suppose as I describe it my only hope is someone recognises it and can tell me what it's called because it's driving me crazy right now, well maybe not that much but it's still bugging me.

Anyway it was an educational platform game, the main character was a knight, simple controls left and right, space to jump, up and down to look up and down, there were a fair amount of enemies, I recall the first enemies you encounter are hedgehogs and to kill enemies you had to jump on them. The educational part involved finding question blocks, jumping on them and answering a question, I recall maths and grammar questions, I don't think you could complete the level without answering them.

It is probably from the 90s as that is when I was a child, I don't think it was old enough to have been an 80s game.

This is sort of a nostlgia thing that when it came to mind has now been bugging me a bit, thanks for any help you guys can give.

Just watched all 100 episodes of rvb again (Over the course of 2 weeks, not all in one day) I remember when I watched the 100th episode initially and the ending involved rvb all just being a game...which was weird...Anyway I see they changed the ending slightly, I suppose it was done to achieve continuity in the rvb series so we could have "Out of Mind", "Relocated", "Reconstruction" and any other mini-series i'm forgetting.

Still...it's a bit of a lame tactic to employ.

FYI I did not steal that from a popular American programme...I totally did not.

Please discuss Burnie's Boobs in great delight, lose you hetrosexuality in the delight of such perfectly rounded supple, man breasts.

Last but not least, it may be about boobs but let's try and keep civilised and mature about this right?

This really goes hand in hand with Xbox fags, if they deem a comment has somehow insulted them, usually involves praising a rival game or system it won't matter where it's been posted it will be neg bombed.

I'm not talking about saying something like PS3 r0x0rs my b0x0rs on a 360 forum either, i've had situations where
we've been discussing PS3 games on the PS3 forum and an xbox lover has come in and given us all negative mods.

I won't go any further into it as i'm sure there are some pathetic PS3 fanboys who do the exact same on the 360 forum

    • Where'd the comic go?

There WAS a comic about Burnie being a penny pincher...what happened to it?

      It's gone!

Reading fan? cool, i'm sure you're excited for the season to start. As an ignorant yank, I have enjoyed the promoted clubs from the past few seasons (well, just Blackpool, Norwich, and Swansea), so I'm looking forward to learning more about your apparently dominant side. Good luck

I agree. The only way to make that final victory worth anything is to actually work for it.
I don't know if you know anything about this American sport called baseball, but I'm a Chicago Cubs fan.....so yeah. I know a little bit about waiting for a championship. My grandfather did too.

Long-haul definately, I have really no admiration for how Man City have gained success, it's similar to Chelsea except Chelsea were at least up and around the top of the table before they got rich.

so what would you rather have? A shallow, money-grubbing, swift but still legit EPL trophy? or a long and tortorous, but hard-earned slog that takes decades to win it all but garners respect from all corners?
This is a purely hyptothetical question and not a direct comeback, I'm just interested in how fans of ManCity or other super-rich clubs can imagine that their teams/trophies are seen as anything but basic cheating. and you're a fan of a fairly low-key team that is approaching the big time and what your preference for the road to glory would be.

Nothing too special about Reading atm, fans are definately a bit excited over the fact we have new ambitious Russian owners so hoping it will mean a long successful stay in the Premier League.

      First of all:

As it is, all my delete function seems to do is delete the first Node in the tree

This is because you're only deleting the first node. The first line in your deleteContact function sets the first node to the value to be deleted.

You need to navigate the tree until you find the value to be deleted, and then delete it.

Also check to be sure that your findContact function returns the right value to nameFound.

If you want me to take a look at the code, send me the actual text.

The logic for deleting from a binary tree is a little tricky. I'm gonna go read up on it a bit.

    • Possumdude0

What problems are you having with deleting a node from a binary tree? Is your issue with the C++ syntax, or with the logic?

Well last time I posted first on a comic (a couple times ago) I got negged and wasn't happy about it, so I decided to not care about negs and see how many I could get. I plan on continuing the trend.

I am a horrid modeler, but I can modify vertices pretty good, to make small details, and rid the model of errors.
I am taking a Visual Basic next year, because I can. I am going to read up on some C# and C++ though.

I am in need of a programmer if your interested, need a game engine written, or a platform for our game written onto an engine, either works.

Just kinda stumbled across this, just kinda confusing, an award for the first 5k users, I would have thought 5k users would have it?

That makes sense, if you think about it - over time, some members' profiles get deleted or canceled, so not every profile from #1-5000 would even exist to get the award. What's more confusing, though, is the number of First 250K awards out there - 6,000 or so. You'd think that there's at least a few more active members from that time period.

Oh, you don't call them Majors and Minors? Um, yep, I'd say its what you're studying. For example, I'm going for a Major in English Education and a Minor is History, grabbing my B.A. before moving on to the upper-graduate programs for my M.Ed. Of course I'll need to tack on some Psychology and Sociology credits to pull that one off, but I've already got 3/4ths of that done, so no worries. So I guess that's what I'm studying. Are you shooting for a Bachelors?

    • Kelbora

XD Ah, brilliant, an Englishman! What's your major?

    • Kelbora

Yeah, *sigh* good ol' Squaresoft...*sniffles* I miss it...they made the best RPGs out there, back then. Not that the FFs now aren't good, but the first through IX were AMAZING! I don't care what anyone says about VIII and IX, I loved them.

I have to stay away from online subscription games because of money issues and the whole "owning one's soul" thing. =>_>= Yeah, I kinda like mine and would like to keep it for a while longer. X3

=>_<= Ouch, that bites. My University is one giant Wi-Fi internet haven of Wooooow. Its a pretty cool place, www.ucf.edu. Which University are you attending?

    • Kelbora

Oh! XP Forgive me, my mind switched the X and I to IX (9). I humbly apologize. No, I didn't care for FF 11 because of its online exclusiveness. The monthly subscription costs really blew it for me since I'm a gamer on a budget (it was a mirical that I was even able to save up and afford a PS3 in collaberation with my sister). I had to go cold turkey with WoW for the same reason, and it really sucked. FF7 was amazing (ahhhh, I remember buying it for $30 way back when...), its a toss up between FF8 and FF9 for the number two spot, and FF10 was great (minus Blitzball which I never understood). X3 Does this unconfuse you?

    • Kelbora

XD lol S'kay, it is a creepy as all get out game. Yeah! I'm a huge FF fan, and have played nearly all of them from 4-12 (minus 11 since that one just sucked). And XI? XDDDD ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES! You're a fan, was that one your favorite?
