      There may be spoilers.

Honestly, I really, really enjoyed the movie. I wasn't expecting much out of this movie, I just hoped that it would be as entertaining as other narrative content that RT put out like RvB and RWBY, and Rooster Teeth delivered. It nailed the direction that they were going for, which is "The Rooster Teeth Movie" and not "Rooster Teeth: The Movie".

There wasn't much references to RT, in fact, I don't recall any references. Sure, there were easter eggs here and there like the X-Ray cosplay or Mindy's RWBY laptop cover or Chris. They blended well in the background and didn't steal the light from the story. The acting was great overall, Burnie and Michael were great. My only complaint among the RT cast was Gavin's accent in the beginning when he was trying to do an american accent. It sounded a little off to me but I suppose changing your accent on your first major gig is not an easy task so props to Gav for trying his best.

The story was not without its flaws. It was pretty cliched and I didn't really feel that Adam's(Alan) death had the impact they wanted nor was Hagan's(Burnie) reaction that warranted. I thought that the resolution was...ok... I suppose? Shooting two beams of dark matter together creates a black hole-esque portal that sucks everything in is kinda... eh whatever, I'm here to be entertained, not get a degree in astrophysics.

The CGI was...passable, it kinda bothered me in the beginning, but overall, the less than ideal CGI took the backseat and didn't draw me out of the movie. However, for a budget of slightly over 2.5million, I say it's pretty solid.

I didn't really like some of the editing decisions but they were kinda minor so I wasn't really that bothered by it. NDT's cameo was pretty unexpected and it was fun. I did feel that they went a little overboard with the news footage though.

Overall, the movie checked my boxes by being entertaining, funny, decently written and well directed. 7/10

So I made a discord server for a RWBY group. It started out as an experiment to see how good discord is and somehow, someway, it is now a rather active server. Almost everyone from there came from a steam group for /r/RWBY and they are all from different parts of the world. I really like it and there's a bunch of really wacky people in there.

So wacky that we're now embarking on something really ambitious. Whether it'll crash and burn like many other projects that the group has embarked on or it'll actually turn into something, I don't know. But I am really looking forward to it. To seeing it come to fruition.

I don't think anyone reads these as I'm a nobody on the site and there's no reason anyone would want to read this. But if you are reading this and you would like to come hang out my discord server with a bunch of other RWBY/RT fans, here's an invite link:

Well, not really... It's just me recording games I play with friends via Skype. We aren't all that interesting but we do occasionally produce some funny stuff. Currently, we have five videos up. they're all in Left 4 Dead 2. If you wish to waste some time on sub-par content, here is the link:

I plan on playing more games with my friends and recording those too. Do let me know what you guys think!

For some reason, I was really really exhausted on Wednesday night and I remember it all in a blur. Come Thursday, I woke up a few hours before school and wasted a couple of hours watching Achievement Hunter. When it was time to go, I could not find my wallet. No matter where I looked, in the laundry basket, under the mattress and several other place but I just could not find it. So i asked my dad if he'd seen it and the answer is no. He helped me look for it and tried to find out if I'd lost it when we went out for dinner last night. He also asked what I had inside and completely flipped his shit when he found out I was carrying my identification card (It's a bitch process to go through with immigration to get it back, not to mention expensive).

For the entire time we were out for dinner after I came back from school, he was berating me about bringing my IC with me (deservedly so, since he had repeatedly told me not to) and how stupid I am. So I that night I was very upset (mostly at myself for being stupid) and went to bed. While moving my hand around the head of my bed, looking for the fan remote control, i felt something. It was under in my pillow's case and I immediately knew what it was. Somehow, I guess on Wed night, I left my wallet beside my pillow and while sleeping, must have pushed it inside. I mean who would ever look into a pillow case to look for a wallet? So it was really lucky that I managed to find it, or else, it would have caused me more than $200 possible more than $300 just to get all the cards and identification documents back.

      It was a bad day.

    • Most screwed up dream to date.

Last night, my dream was pretty normal, the usual stuff that are forgotten the moment you wake up. Except for the last part. That last part is kind of creeping me out a little about how my brain can actually think of doing that.

So, I'm holding a knife in what I assume to be where I live and I walk into a bedroom with a women laying on it, sleeping (I think). I then proceed to stab her in the eyes and shove the knife into her mouth and she starts gagging from the blood and eventually drowned in her blood. I just calmly walked away and went to the kitchen to clean the knife. Immediately after that, I start to get control of the dream and start to panic. I think up of ways to hide the body and what I should do and I start go crazy. Then I woke up, thinking "What. The. Hell?"

If anyone reading this can interpret this into something, I'm all ears.

Woke up this morning with my mom going all over the house, moving things everywhere...reason? The pipe that feeds water into the washing machine somehow broke off and flooded the laundry area and spilled into my dad's work room...almost everything survived except a few electronics and some server ports (I have no idea how). Good thing a repairman was able to come and fix it or else we can't have any water running without flooding the house.

All in all a good day though.

So today at school, during a lecture, the lecturer set up a forum whereby we can send in our answers or thoughts without everyone shouting and turning the lecture theatre into a shout-fest like some political meetings that I know. Before the forum started, the lecturer was explaining where a plane's operational manual is kept in a plane. Some idiot posted on the forum "in your mom's anus". Now that guy's chances in getting a good standing in internship selection is probably non existent...

That is all, I'm bored so I wrote this journal. If you're reading this, thank you for spending your time on my garbage. smiley0.gifsmiley12.gif

    • How I came to find out about RoosterTeeth

It's actually a kind of peculiar story.

Back when Youtube had the old layout and would show you suggestions of videos beside your frequently viewed and history, I would almost always get an Arby & Chief suggestion. As I had no interest in Halo, that did not interest me at all so I just ignored it. Fast forward a few months later (or was it a year? I can't remember), I was watching video game trailers and I came across the Halo Wars trailer. I was kind of intrigued by it and I remembered Arby & Chief...well, not really, I remembered something Halo related so I dug for it. By some infinite stroke of brilliance, I decided "Hey! Maybe it's called Red vs Blue!" and so I searched for it. At that time, it was around Reconstruction if I remember correctly and the first RvB video that I clicked was the episode in Relocated where Sarge is walking to Valhalla while singing. I thought it was pretty cool so I watched a few other episodes.

I didn't watch RvB again or anything by RoosterTeeth until around the time they released the Angry Birds trailer. I watched it and had no clue that they were the same people that made RvB. I was pretty much hooked than, watching their shorts and later realized that they made RvB.

Now, a year or two or maybe three later, I finally got onto this site and I am very much looking forward to be a part of this amazing and wonderful community, even if I am geographically stuck where I am.
I hope to be able to one day go to Austin, to RTX, to meet all of you great people!
