Hey Guys!

Most (or all of you) don't know me, but here I am. I wanted to do something because I have been given an amazing opportunity and felt like  needed to document it some way. I am going to be going around the Midwest of the United States and teach kids singing, dancing, and acting for a week and then reform with them in a show! I figured I would like to keep a journal and since I am terrible at writing in a book, I would like to make it a digital journal. Not only will I have a record, but I would get to share it with people I like (you guys)! This will be an ongoing thing and I plan on writing every week or so with updates on how it's going and cool little things that happen. Here goes nothing...

For the past week and a half, we have been rehearsing for about 12 hours a day (except for Memorial Day, thank god for a day off). We've been working really on trying to learn the new material, master the old material, and overall, create an amazing show to show the kids and to teach them as well. The cast we were working along side have already started their tour of the west coast in the very west coast of Minnesota (don't ask me, I don't know why either).The reason we have a longer rehearsal time is because we have to put together three acts instead of two: One that we preform by ourselves and two that we preform and teach with and to the kids. After all this rehearsal time, we only have one day left, then we pack up the day after that, and drive all the way to Indiana from Southern California. I have learned a lit about how much I can accomplish in a short amount of time, including memorization, eating food fast, and how to not go crazy when they say, "That didn't work, run it again!" It all has been to better myself and lord I feel like I have been bettered. I have a great cast of people I will be working with for the next three months and I can't wait to see where this tour brings me as a person. Time to finish the rehearsals off strong and start this thing! Onward and Upward!
